Service Dog Teams

Meet Kinley, Krysta, & Joey:
"Kinley means more than the world to me. She’s more than just a dog. She’s more than a friend. She’s more than family. It’s hard to put into words how much she (and her brother)
mean to me. I lost her brother Kenai a little while ago and my heart completely broke. I didn’t know if I wanted another dog but Kenai helped me in the darkest times of my life and I knew he would want me happy, so we got Kinley. Since then she’s been the brightest light in my life. Not only has she helped me with my depression but she’s also helped me open my heart again. There’s so much of Kenai in her and I feel so blessed about that. She licks my tears away when I’m sad, gets me going when I don’t want to see the light of day, and constantly puts a smile on my face. She has cuddled me when I lost a family member. She has gotten me off the ground just like her brother did when my brother passed away. I can’t thank Above the Clouds enough. They’ve given me my best friend, and the reason I keep going every day.
We’ve been training her and will continue to do so so one day she can help me with my job as a Speech Pathologist, and be the light other individuals need as well. "-Krysta W.

Meet Han Solo, Wu (Alecto)& Kerri:
"Han Solo  has been a light at the end of a dark tunnel for me.  He is wonderful and helps a great deal. Han came from the Star Wars litter. We decided to keep his name...well, because I love Star Wars! I currently suffer from complex PTSD, severe panic attacks, and vertigo (I get spells of dizziness and fainting). Han has been through and completed CGC training and will continue his CGC-U and CGC-A courses to assist with alerting , DPT, and various tasks. He has a calm temperament just like his dad Odin.  I currently take Han everywhere with me and he loves to go on adventures."

Meet Odin & Tim:
"This is our beautiful Odin. We searched high and low for a quality Siberian, with the right genetics and temperament for my husband’s service dog. He is a retired Sgt Major, a Green Beret, and Veteran. After a long search and temperament testing many puppies, we finally found our beloved Odin! A six-month-old White Siberian.  We found a trainer, and began training Odin for Tim. We were terrified  we could have made a mistake, as Odin was 6 months old, with virtually no socialization or training. He immediately proved everyone wrong about  their assumptions about Siberians. He excelled at the training, and passed CGC, CGCA, and CGCU. He is the best dog we have ever owned. He is calm, benevolent, and spreads good vibes wherever he goes. All the service trainers that came in contact with him, were amazed at the ease with which he sailed through training. This is what inspired us to train more Siberian’s for service.  Odin was the inspiration for our business, as  many people asked about him, and we realized their was a great need  for genetically sound, highly trained service dogs."-Tim

Meet Cyborg & Brett:

Cyborg is from also from the Game of Thrones litter. He is a big strapping male, that takes after his daddy Odin with his calm and balanced disposition. Not to mention a beautiful coat and striking Bi Eyes. Cyborg was matched with Brett, a paraplegic. Cyborg is being trained for stability/mobility, and will provide support and balance to Brett, along with his cane or walker. Brett works in I.T. in Denver and doesn’t let his disability slow him down. He lives in Florissant Colorado, with his lovely wife DeDe. We are glad to have them close, and to be a part of their progress. ( The boy in the picture is Jake. Jake was in a wheelchair due to fracturing his femur. Cyborg visited with Jake in the hospital and did a great job raising his spirits).

Meet Queen & Courtney:
Queen was donated to us , because she was in an extremely abusive situation. Her original owner who loved her dearly had passed away, and she was left in the care of her owners son. The son who had some mental issues, would regularly punch and kick her. When she came to us, she would not even allow us to touch her without snapping at us, although she never broke skin. I used the feather method, slowly stroking her with a feather, then a brush, and finally was able to pet her. She was fearful of men, and it took Tim even longer to win her trust. Odin was instrumental in her recovery, and would lay close to her to make her feel safe and protected. He also modeled the behaviors we were teaching her. She was matched and donated to Courtney who suffers from Pots. A nerve disorder that causes her to pass out frequently among many other challenging symptoms. Queen is truly amazing, and quickly picked up even complicated tasks like opening doors, sometimes the first time these tasks were introduced. She alerts when Courtney is working at her desk and doesn’t allow her to get up if her pulse rate is too high. She even alerts her to take her medication at the same time every night. She smells her breath to make sure she took it, and Courtney literally has to stick out her tongue to show Queen that she swallowed it. We couldn’t be more thrilled with her transformation.

Meet Tyene, Abe, & Shira:

Tyene lives in New York City. She is our uptown girl from The Game of Thrones litter. Tyene is trained for anxiety and depression and helps both her owners with their stressful lives living in New York. Shira is  an actuary and works in Times Square. Abe is a preschool teacher, and full-time medical student. Tyene spends her time at the office, school, and going on adventures all over New York City. She is a big beautiful girl, with a happy go lucky personality that New Yorker's cant get enough of. We enjoy all the pictures and reports from Abe, keeping us updated on their exciting lives. Abe reports that he has also lost 10 pounds and cancelled his gym membership from all the activity! He says he has more fun running around the city with Tyene. I was very nervous about one of our dogs being in such a big urban city.... Tyene has handled the challenges with no problem at all. She has tackled the moving walkways, subways, escalators, and general hustle and bustle, with ease!

Meet Azazel & Stormy:
“Azazel has impacted my life in the best way. He's always there for me. When I'm in so much pain and vomiting, he never leaves my side. He comforts me and always finds ways to make me smile and laugh, he brings me his toys for comfort as well. He's improved my mood every day. He always helps me with my health issues. When I have an anxiety attack, even out in public, he's right there and doing what he can to help calm me down. I know I'm not perfect, but he makes me feel like no matter what life throws at me, I'll get through it as long as I have him. He's an amazing, goofy, smart, mouthy (in a funny way) dog and he's my best friend. He has made me a better person.”-Stormy.
